Cook & Belle

Bret and Michelle have been performing at various fairs and festivals for the past 8 years. Entertaining thousands of folks throughout the U.S., this energetic duo is definitely a crowd pleaser. "Angels In Heaven" a song from their 2000 recording received airplay on over 200 stations. In June 2003 Nashville recording artists Cook & Belle released their sophomore cd entitled "Do I Dare". "Do I Dare" definitely takes you on a vocal journey that is progressively driven. Mixing raw passion, soul, and a gospel influence makes Cook & Belle's hit country a sound of its own. In the past 4 years, Cook & Belle have opened for such artists as: Ty Herndon, Randy Travis, Rascal Flatts, Trick Pony, Jamie O'Neal, Joe Diffie, The Charlie Daniels Band, Montgomery Gentry, Tracy Lawrence, Lonestar and Rushlow. Cook & Belle travel with a four piece band and production if needed. Having fun, playing great music (variety), and entertaining like nobody's business is what you get when you make Cook & Belle part of your event.

"I remember singing to the albums of Lionel Ritchie, Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys most of my childhood. We had a pizza parlor in town called Shakey's Pizza and after every local baseball game the whole team would go there to eat. I never left that place without singing Elvis's "Jailhouse Rock". I was probably only 12 years old, but had a dream to either play Pro baseball or be a big time performer. Music has always been a big part of my life and I just love the way it makes you feel." said Bret Cook.

"I remember singing as far back as 4-5 years old. Being able to hear and sing harmony I learned at a very young age. I have a background of many talented family members starting with my parents. My dad has sung and played music professionally most of his life while mom stayed home writing songs. My parents loved gospel music so they started a group (Churchbells) and we traveled to various churches to share our music ministry. Also growing up we had a group called The Luxury Band (3 brothers and a sister), it was a variety band and I sang with them till I was 24 years old. Two of my brothers are still playing music while my sister sings background vocals for Cook & Belle. In 1992 I married Bret Cook and the rest is history." said Michelle Belle (Cook).
