Acoustic Smoke

Acoustic Smoke is folk, rock and blues band out of Bemidji Minnesota. Joe Holt's rich melodic blues voice, paired to Roy Hershberger's thick rhythmic guitar creates a powerful, minimalistic, driven sound that appeals to a broad audience. Their first album, One Kind Favor, is a mixture of blues and old gospel spiritual covers, recorded in a live, raw, stripped down style. Their new album, Leave Better Than You Are, features all original songs with a full band production, folk/rock, and Americana feel.
While doing a concert at the local county fair, a Bemidji DJ working with a number of local stations heard them and said, "Man, that sound! I don’t know who you guys are, but you’ve got to take this sound seriously."
Their music has a broad appeal to young and old alike.
